Although a hard choice in some ways, I opted for bringing people to the show/network. If only artists buy the work of other artists the audience becomes circular. We need new blood and an expanding client base to support the art world. Yes, attending the opening is important and it is a subgroup of bringing vistors to the gallery. Having a discussion about the work is my second choice, as we hope visitors really look hard and the ensuing dialogue is deep and relevent. This brings me to the third choice of organizing group exhibitions hopefully by an expanding group of curators who can shine light on the interesting combinations and themes of work natually occuring in the San Diego region. The general masses need this type of help in discovering the rich talent that too often lies buried in our community. Thank you for posting this thought provoking survey.

I'll side with Patricia on this one, and vote for bringing others into the fold and expanding the energy created by the exhibit. However, I like the question: How COULD artists show support for one another? much better as it invites choice. Thanks! Peace, Joseph
